Certainly more accommodating towards the 21+ crowd, Coachella is basically a huge party where adults get to be kids again. 2012 marked my fourth time going to the festival and it has been interesting to see how it has changed over the years. While the novelty is starting to ware off, there will always be something magical about this desert oasis. I remember in 2008 you could still buy tickets at the gate and it seemed significantly less crowded; but air conditioned bathrooms for the general public are a major perk associated with the recent hype. Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre brought me back to middle school and Justice will always remind me of my senior year of college, but aside from the headliners were a large group of lesser known, even more incredible musicians. I’ll be posting some of my favorites in the coming weeks.
